It has been less than 1 1/2 years since my second cancer surgery with lymph nodes removed again. I recently developed daily, persistent aching pain under and around my right arm, as well as swelling to the arm, hand and fingers. Sent by my oncologist for therapy, I met Yaddy (Jadranko Franjic), my therapist. I have had experience with therapy clinics before, suffering from myofascial pain dysfunction. My first therapy visit with Yaddy, I was told it was indeed lymphedema developing in my right upper extremity.

My therapy went from December 2008 through January 2009 and the beginning of February 2009. From the first therapy session to the last, Yaddy evaluated and set a goal plan for my treatment for lymphedema and therapy for the myofascial pain dysfunction.

I was always given my own private room. It was quiet, clean, warm and without interruptions during the entire session. Therapy sessions focused on my need to improve my health by meeting the goals to get me functioning back to my normal, daily living activities without the swelling and persistent pain.

Yaddy was always courteous, pleasant, polite and extremely dedicated with the therapy to meet his goal for me. Questions I had were always answered. Instruction and explanations for after-therapy home care were given well. Exercise booklets, skin care needs and protection of the effected extremity were note just handed to me, but gone over completely to be sure I understood prevention measures and home after care once our goal was reached. He accompolished my need to return to being comfortable and productive with daily activities again. Yaddy was the best therapist I have had. I must say that the facility including the staff at both Green Hills location as well as the Maryland Farms faculty did a wonderful job. They were professional, quiet, respectful and very helpful with scheduling ans so pleasant to be around.
