Elizabeth Hord-Hallauer

The mother of Gabe and Elijah, both of whom are Life Therapies patients: I don't think there is enough paper to write how Life Therapies has changed not only my life but my entire family's lives. I have two children, Elijah who is five now and Gabriel who will be three in November. When Gabriel was born, he was a normal healthy child.

However, five months later that all changed and my life turned upside down. When Gabe was five months old, he began acting different and was soon diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. I did not know about Tuberous Sclerosis Complex(TSC) was or if he was going to be okay. Gabriel had tumors in his brain, heart, kidney's, skin, and eyes. We immediately started looking for therapy for him and we finally settled on Life Therapies. He was 6 months old when we started with Amber, he could not even sit up on his own. Amber did such a wonderful job.

Three months later, my oldest, Elijah was diagnosed with Autism. It was not hard to decide where I wanted him to have speech therapy. He started with Emily.

I am proud to say today Gabe has graduated from PT with Amber and will be seeing Emily twice a week and Nichole twice a week for OT. Elijah has graduated from Emily and is doing very well with Kindergarten. Gabe was diagnosed with Autism last week and we will continue with Life Therapies, and I know he will continue to amaze us.

Amber, Emily and Nichole are like family to us. They have impacted our life in such a good way, I don't know where we would be today without them, and I hate to even think about it. We are blessed to have such a wonderful team to help our family through our triumphs and trials.
