Lymphedema

Lymphedema is an accumulation of lymph fluid in the arms, legs, or trunk. Typically, lymphedema will occur after cancer or cancer treatments such as the surgical removal of lymph nodes and/or radiation. Lymphedema can cause discomfort, interfere with the healing of wounds, and cause infections. 

Life Therapies has the largest lymphedema program in Middle TN with 9 lymphedema therapists. Our staff uses evidence-based treatments tailored to meet the needs of each patient. Our specially-trained and certified therapy staff will use the following treatment methods to alleviate your pain and reduce your discomfort.
